A creature that traveled to this world from another dimension. Witnesses observed it trapping Pokemon in webs made of a strange shadowy material. It towers over most Pokemon, challenging those it deems worthy. Those who are defeated by it are sealed inside a dark cocoon that slowly drains away what life it has left.

The first things that came to mind when I chose a Bug / Dark typing, were Black widow spiders and Changelings, so I made a Black widow arachne Pokemon with some blue/green chitin armor. I don't know if it looks ultra beast-y enough, but it looks like it could be an alien bug from space.

I gave its shiny sprite a black/green colour scheme to make it look more alien and contrast more.
